Representative Neuman moved and asked unanimous consent that CSSB 83(HSS) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. 2017-05-16 House Journal Page 1453 The Speaker stated that, without objection, CSSB 83(HSS) would be returned to second reading for all amendments. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Neuman: Page 4, line 7: Delete "may forward [SHALL TRANSFER]" Insert "shall forward [TRANSFER]" Page 4, lines 19 - 20: Delete "may [SHALL]" Insert "shall" Representative Neuman moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Spohnholz objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative Spohnholz objected. The Speaker stated that, without objection, the House would recess until the joint session; and so, the House recessed at 12:01 p.m.
